The game is very, very long. As far as I can tell, it feels like it would probably take around like three to five hours to complete a full run. The things that you upgrade are actually pretty minimal. And so largely the stuff that is retaining in the game from run to run is these different characters and their weird missions. There's also kind of like a meta behind the scenes where you're like applying credits and upgrading your ships.
