CNN's Confrontational Halt

CNN's Brian Stelter was invited to the series premiere of "The Sopranos" He tweeted about it and said how amazing it was walking down this long flight of stairs. CNN founder and editor Josh Marshall frames a question by asking, Did CNN get quote to liberal or did the national political environment become so polarized that news coverage forced some level of confrontational stance? It can be a little bit of both; you can recognize that things have become polarized or knocked off kilter of democratic norms.
