Many more of the women associated would have been from that second category, having less financial power. But we're now also seeing many more of these financially independent Chinese women. I certainly have seen some women expressing their desire for Western men, who they thought were taller, were more handsome. And part of this may have something to do with the age. So a Western man who is, for example, maybe 50 years old would look 10 years older than the Chinese counterpart. Another thing that the women actually had issues with is the Western men's body hair and their body odor.
