The Long Term Effects of the Spanish Flu
The long-term health consequences of the Spanish flu lasted for something like 60 years. People born during that pandemic attained less education and had lower economic productivity over their lifetime. And we don't know if we're going to get something similar this time. I think now we're in a situation which is very different from the one we found ourselves in in 1918. One of the big positives to come out of the pandemic itself, I think is mRNA vaccines.
