The Pressure on Young Academics

I think the pressure is much more extreme now on younger academics and they are being measured. The insane amount of publication and sometimes you have to cut the research and publish as much as you can. It's absolutely not the right thing to do but I think it's says something about the pressure that young academics are under. And it's all across the world now. Every country in the world has got reading reports about what its academics are doing, so good luck to you in your career.
