The Story of Creation in John's Gospel

Each one of the gospels recalls genesis and the story of creation at their very outset. How whereas matthew particularly recalls the later story of abraham's family, john brings us back to the very beginning of creation itself. For john, the one who comes in the incarnation has been active in cre on from the very start. His story doesn't begin with a star. It begins before any of the stars were in the heavens. It does not begin in the womb of mary, but in the bosom of the father.
