The war also calls into question the relevance of the Permanent Security Council, or at least rush as place on it. It seems to me completely innimical that you can have a great power or a former great power able to veto resolutions in the UN Security Council. And one of the very good things that could come out of this conflict would be the removal of Russia from the permanent Security Council. But maybe we need some kind of new security framework which is certainly worth debating.
