The Impetus for AGI X or Singularity Net
The main reason in my heart for founding singularity net was I think my team working on open cog hyper on after a few more years is going to make the breakthrough to machines that can really think like people and then even better than people. We're working on custom hardware for this also, a custom AGI chip together with a company similar in Florida. It seemed like the only viable beneficial way would be to have it be more like Linux operating system. Have the first AGI running on a million machines running across every country on the globe with open source code and replicated all over the place.
