The Formula for Desire as a Subject

The worst experience in the world is to have no desire. To have your desire taken from you is usually an indication that somebody has poached to your lack. What happens when anxiety strikes is that a desirous other shows up and is larger than that which defines us. The cause of our desire becomes the object of the other's desire. This is anxiety. If you want a formula for it, this is it. As a result, it fucks us up.
