Baptism is not just cleansing, right? I its setting forth a new way of life, a new to walk on. It represents our renouncing the devil in all his pomp and our allegiance to this triune god. In being baptized into christ, we become offspring of abraham. And heirs of the future, inheritance that god has promised. So our future is changed.
