Shared Mental Model and Constraints in Coaching
Mike believes the shared mental model and internal logic of the game naturally is the same as constraints overall though we might need to be careful how we explain that. If I really believe the share mental model is important I should spend a lot of time and practice getting people to have an understanding of what to do of the rules of the logic like Mike's writing verbalizing it using whiteboards to talk about it. "I think there's quite a misconception of a share mental model from a team performance element floating around at the moment which is that everything everything needs to be prescribed and controlled" he says.
