Apple has had in Mac OS 10 slash current version of Mac OS, various places for anti malware software to hook into the system. The main reason I don't run any anti malware stuff is that, you know, it's there is a cost to running it. So I'd rather, I just would rather not do that. And as long as the risk of Mac malware continues to be as low as it is, and as long as Apple can do a good enough job with their built in stuff to protect against anything that actually gets big, I'm fine with that.
