The Liberal Party's Demographic Title Wave

The Liberal Party ran this campaign on the ground, trying to incentivise voters to punish the government for the cost of leading crisis. They obviously had an assumption that people will punish the incumbent for what he's going on economically right now. The only thing you would have noticed around politics would be the more redeeming issue, all that sort of cultural war, fringe stuff that's coming from the conservative side of politics. For most voters, they just find that stuff quite weird and odd and doesn't speak to them. And so you've got a fairly educated switched on electorate who know why things are happening.
