Is the Resurrection Relative to Everyone Else?
How would someone participate in the resurrection at the second coming if they were to have fallen into a black hole, or gone near enough to one that it's the time stopped for them? Relative to everyone else? It has been my impression that the resurrection is supposed to happen for every one sin simultaneously. Maybe i am wrong, but how can this be given that time is relative,. so the church obviously doesn't have teaching here. This is a matter of speculation. We don't really have a a statement of scripture or the magisterium that addresses what would happen to people who are not on earth. The logical assumption would be that it's going to be everybody.
