The Death of a Doctor

I was diagnosed with epilepsy after a series of seizures. I decided to take the life of an old woman who had hardly any left in her. This kept me alive for ten months, but then my EpiPen ran out. The more friends and loved ones one has, the longer death spreads from them. So I took another baby born to poverty - thinking it would be enough. But this time his liver gave out as he tried to destroy himself through drinking. It's not about age or health; it is about connection... About joy. And the longer it keeps me alive.,  says David Walliams.
