The Importance of a Good Assessment of Posterior Stroke

Most of the time, isolated vertigo or dizziness is very unlikely to be a stroke. The next most common symptoms are gate ataxia, headache, nausea, vomiting and nystagmus. A good chunk of patients with posterior stroke are young patients who don't have classical stroke risk factors. They get strokes from vertebral artery dissection.
