According to a biographer, he became a dedicated party member who sought above all to maintain social order and political control. Six months later, he transferred to the first chief directorate responsible for intelligence operations outside the Soviet Union. This whole time, Vladimir is still living at home with his parents' cell because Russia. What the country? Just because you're on port in KGB operative does not mean you be rewarded with enough rubles to live in your own tiny, rotten, fasted closet toilet chit-hole.
