"It's just really hard to kind of channel your thoughts about somebody who looms so large in your life," he says. "I truly was destroyed by it, I mean, I could go chapter and verse the weeks after that." His father also died around the same time as his brother Christopher at age 62. The two men had a close relationship when they were growing up.
