People in 1923 predicted that we'd be working less, and they were pretty correct. But why are we then still working so hard? Academically speaking, we're working fewer hours than we did 100 years ago. We still work a lot. Our days are long and full and often very hard. So why didn't that change? Well, I think that we can start to answer that question by looking at the counter predictions.
