This morning I typed up the minutes of a meeting that we had on Monday night with them. Unlocking Warwick. That's the volunteer group I belong to. The minutes and the minutes is what we call the record of a meeting. You don't write out exactly what people say, but you write a summary of what each person says or whatever discussions you have. And then they have to be typed up and sent to all the members so that they agree that it's a correct record of the meeting that we've had. It's a very tedious job. But someone has to do it.
A conversation with my (lovely) mum in which we generally witter on about a number of different things including some British history, ways of describing rain, different expressions for talking (like rambling and wittering), my mum's accent, what she thinks of this podcast and some of her podcast recommendations. Vocabulary is explained after the conversation and there is a vocabulary list available.
