The United Kingdom is kind of it's an iconic and often discussed case but there's other cases in Europe that show similar trajectories if you look at Germany for example. The Netherlands historically had more than 40% of their housing in social housing and now has below 30%. Vienna and Helsinki where social housing has basically over the last 30 years remained stable was something that we wanted to highlight with the paper.
