In your experience, what percentage of defendants actually cop a plea along the way versus how many actually get a jury verdict? Well over 99%. Good Lord. Even the Supreme Court has said that it's at least, you know, 97, 98% jury trials to verdict are just vanishingly rare in our system. And incentives are really pushing to make them even harder to get. These are calling people in for multiple calendar calls, disrupting their life even before they get to go to trial and more opportunities for the state to ring please out of people.
