Grape Tanning
Michael Marcarian is the beverage director for H2 Collective in Washington, D.C. He says he finds that grape tannins hit your palate in a different area than wood tannin. With those really tannin varieties, winemakers tend to use nyok in order to mellow it out. We'll hear her conclusion and reveal the wine at the end of the show.
