Is There a Better Vision of Catholic Reform Theology?
Bobbing was attacked by both modernists and conservative folks from being so culturally engaged yet theologically orthodox. So I don't think that's a compromise on Confessionalism. And one of the ways in which I try to communicate this sort of bigger vision of Catholic reform theology is to show that ultimately, if you believe in this transcendent God who's perfectly simple and immutable, wouldn't you be more open to the fact that every culture can worship and see this God in really distinct ways?
