In Christ sending the pigs into the lake, into the Sea of Ganesirai, and then drowning, the demons are able to have a soft landing. In a sense, in a way of allegory, Christ is being kind to the one that is going to kill him. That's a bearing out or a proving true of Christ's words. You don't take my life from me. I freely lay it down. Now, why in heaven's name would Christ be nice to the demons?
