What are the benefits of narcissism? Where does it really benefit you and when we think about evolutionary terms? Narcissism is linked to short-term mating success. So people are narcissistic or good at finding mates They're good at becoming leaders very quickly. But I think that the narcissism is really beneficial in the sort of new situations in the short term where you don't see the benefit.
