The All-Stars of Bangana Can

One of the things that really resonated with me in the book was when you're talking about Bangana Can's affinity for rock music. One of the ways in which they distinguish themselves the all-stars from other chamber music ensembles is that they play everything amplified and then that becomes a problem. As a participant at the Bangana Can festival I had my own music performed there and my own music tends to be extremely delicate and very quiet right right um I don't want my music to be played amplified. There were some very short conversations where I said hey when my piece gets performed maybe we could just turn all the mics off and that was quickly shot down oh interesting I was not
