What's the Theory Behind Rodney's Death?

One theory is that Rodney drank the methanol after mistaking it for liquor. Investigators can't rule out a theory like this, but they're unable to find evidence to support it. If it's true, it would be the first-ever homicide in New Zealand history and Antarctica's recorded history.
