Covenant Succession and Unconditional Election
We have total depravity, unconditional election, limited atonement, irresistible grace, perseverance of the saints. How do these two relate? We should view these two doctrines as being conducive and not at odds. There is a sense in which we are eternal beings, not just forever life but even moving forward that we have always existed,. But there has never been a time where he began to love me because there was never a time when he did.
