The Importance of Learning Languages Through History

When I, you know, was learning Persian and I have this wonderful series on the history of Iran, all of a sudden I see a center of the world. So no longer do we see sort of North America or Western Europe as the center of the World. We become multicultural, multi-lingual, and multi polar in our understanding of how world history developed. And so they have a certain, had a certain perspective on the world around them.
