It's important to surround yourself with successful people because they need people that build up your energy, not drain it. There is a process, you know, a changing. When you grow up with a group of people, a group of friends, let's say you grew up in the old neighborhood with tommy and joe and fuck and billy. Exactly. So when you start to distance yourself or start to go out, you have to understand that that's going to cause fear in them. They feel like their being left behind. And for that reason,
"You are who you hang out with." We've heard that time & again, but until you take seriously the essential connection between your social life & your success, you're not going fulfill your potential. Bottom line: who you choose as your close friends matters. What peer group you're a part of affects your mind, your character, the amount of money in your bank account...everything.
