How to Treat Vibriovolnificus Cellulitis
Vibriovolnificus is another cause of necrotizing soft tissue infections. Those are going to be in any salt or brackish water exposure. Do a full skin exam on all your patients, especially elderly patients and those with undifferentiated fever. Always think about indistinct borders of infection, tenderness and swelling beyond the erythema margin when treating cellulitis.
