I didn't believe that my talent could sustain me and That I could have some sort of self-sufficiency through the pursuit of a non-commercial career. Because that would have required not knowing when and where I was gonna get my next paycheck that was I Couldn't have handled that emotionally. So I needed to find a very steady stream of employment that could ensure that I could live on my own take care of myself and so forth. In as much as I felt that I was compromising, I wasn't doing what I really really wanted to do The non-negotiable for me in looking at all of those things that I wanted to do Really was survival taking care of
