The Mandalorian: A Climatic Story Event?
This was the longest and biggest departure, because usually they jump back and forth if they're going to do something like this. It's surprisingly different, but I guess it made sense considering what happens with Mando and Grogu really only works with the beginning and the end. Kathy Kennedy said in 2020 that the series would come to a climactic story event. But more recently, John has said the Mandalorian could go on forever. There doesn't seem to be any lack of interest in Grogo and Mando.
