The Importance of Preference for God
The Lord wants us to notice his presence, his work by seeing the evidence of things. Even though we may not see him, we're to know that he's present with us because of the things that are happening in our lives. The spirit comes and abides with us throughout this experience we call the Christian life. By noticing the work of God, we're pointing out God himself, his presence,. His presence is powerful, it's life changing. It can be hidden, but as we begin to develop a lifestyle of discernment, we can point him out to others.
