The Constant in Suicide Arguments
The constant in all of these arguments is that it's wrong for you to kill yourself because you have an obligation to meet or end of some bargain that's been set up. People don't just do this with gods or the universe, they do it with government and society as well. This argument is not just god's it's not just the universe or virtue or society. But nothing was more influential, nothing on how the average american views suicide, than christianity.
