So an adaptation strategy might be to retrofit many of those homes with air conditioning now that don't have homes because they may not have expected that type of heat in Portland. 85% of homes in London do not have air conditioning because they never expected those types of temperatures. We just have to act and move beyond what I call climate delayism.
