How You Created a Space for Your Parents to Talk and Open Up
When I started going to therapy and when I started trying to be more open with my parents, my parents started opening up a little bit. They started talking about like experiences they've been through and stuff like that. My dad shared some really personal anecdotes that I still will always remember and appreciate. And it's weird because I never, I can never imagine it from him. But when he shared that, it was like a vulnerable moment. And I could see he was really trying to connect and help me.
