Apple's a Sandbox, Is It?
The mac is a sand box, and you're expected to play within that sand box. And my my conspiracy bacon, is it's going to get even worse, not better. Apple will be building in purpose specific co processers on the x86 side of the platform. But i think that will add to the sort of sand box feeling of the mac platform.
