On this Episode of Rehash: a web3 podcast, we sat down with Spencer Graham, product contributor at DAOhaus.
Spencer was nominated by JP (@jonathanprozzi) and some of the questions asked in this episode were submitted by DAO member Carsten Pötter (@carstenpoetter).
With a background in economics and psychology, Spencer became increasingly interested in web3 when he began to understand how it could transform complex systems like healthcare and investing. He also has a great love for burritos, which just so happen to provide a useful model for creating healthy, balanced organizations.
Aside from discussing burritos, we talk about other useful principles and models for DAOs, some mistakes they should avoid, and dive into the tricky process of decentralizing. Spencer also explains the idea of capture-resistant governance which leads us to touch on power struggles, resource management, contributor incentivization, hierarchies, and the potential of web3 to replace traditional top-down systems with flatter networks.
