When i wrote the mystery series, there were some things i specifically did not want to do. I wanted to hit a lot of those tropes that readers were expecting. The main character whosea, you no forma military in this case, is a retired green barrey a. He comes from a wealthy family, and he got into trouble over seas. His parents make him ance to be a privt sets himself up as a private investigator. So it's a little bit of a spin on the pi jono. But i think that twist probly didn't help me very much, because he's not a traditional protagonistandd iv found a fair number of readers who like the stories
