The Importance of Chance in Unusual Events
A University of Missouri, Columbia found that the most strongly endorsed explanations for coincidences were God and faith. To me it could be direct prayer in people having connected thoughts subconsciously. Rather than conveying divine guidance, coincidences often appear to act as a mirror to what is currently going on in the experience or is conscious or unconscious mind.
