The Final Boss Is a Different Game
The game has trained you to have a certain expectation for how boss fights go. The final wing of the last boss is a completely different set of mechanics. There's also a part in the final level where there's a vertical hallway you need to wall jump all the way up. And at no point had I ever imbibed the knowledge that you could press dash and jump at the same time to long jump.
