Three big themes of the conference: low interest rates, trade policy and dominance of dollar. One paper looked at how much power do central bankers really have to offset supply side shocks? The other two focused on emerging markets but if you included some of the world's richest economies, then decline in interest rates didn't look nearly so extreme.
