Space Exploration and the Near Term Needs of Humanity

In 20 20, it was estimated that over 37 million us. Citizens lived in poverty. That's more than ten % of the population. Imagine what help could be delivered there. I think there is much help that needs to be delivered There. We do need to be paying very much attention to the near term existential threats for humanity on earth. So this is poverty. This is climate change mitigation. This is making sure that we have equitable access to education and resources. It would also be a mistake to have our blinders so firmly set on the near term that we forget to invest at least some of our funds in the long term horizon for humanity. If you don't do that now,
