The Importance of Repatriating Jewish Treasures to Israel

A lot of these Jewish treasures are still in the, I don't know if there is much of an idea that, well, now we have a homeland, we need to get all the stuff back. And has there been any attempt to repatriate isn't the word, but to patriot it to Israel or to claim it on behalf of Israel? Here's where Israel comes into the story.
