The Atomic Force Microscope

Gard and his colleagues received the cavley prize in nano science for this invention. The mic force microscope made it possible for scientists to watch eyeon channels open and close, test out devices that are too small to see. One scientist even used the atomic force microscope to listen to proteins unfold. Gard says he is waiting for someone to make it possible for nano technologies to reproduce themselves.
