What Is My Job Now?

The fall of Grenada was symbolic for the possibilities of socialist revolution in the whole region. And so there was a certain kind of idea that came to a halt, right? The suffering didn't come to a halt and the suffering increased. So I looked at this as a writer and I thought, what is it that I might do here? That became my act of survival. To take note is to account, to write down what is happening.To list, yes. To make an inventory of what is gone, what exists now. Because at that moment it's not what is possible, but just to be the recorder of the time. Yeah.
