How to Reconcile Lying to Your Kids

It's interesting because we deceive for the right reasons sometimes as well. We deceive or we call it a white lie to maybe protect somebody from a situation, and something bad's happened but you don't want to go into the details. So they kind of primed that though, right? They did. But it's interesting. It got me thinking when I was at school many years ago,. The teacher was talking about Father Christmas. And one of the kids said, Oh, no, we never did that at home because mum and dad didn't believe in telling us lies. That always stuck with me. How do you reconcile lying to your kids? Because that is lying, isn't it?
