"We got intel, excuse me, we got intel all of a sudden that said there was a small group and 10 to 15 American POWs that were being moved north," he says. "And our mission was to go out and find them and get them back." The next day the team went on an extraction LZ in North Korea. They had finished their mission; they moved back to an extractionLZ. He's now retired from the U.S. Army but is still serving with his former commando unit at Camp Lejeune near Paris.
